What to expect

Our preferred number of hunters is 6-8 per group. A minimum of 5 hunters is required to guarantee private hunting and lodging. Contact us at (780)871-1320 to book your hunt.

What to bring

Be prepared for average temperatures from 25-60 degrees in September. We recommend waterproof boots, layered clothing (camo or neutral colors), camo face mask, camera, gloves/hand warmers.

Travelling to Canada

You will need to fly into Edmonton (YEG), Saskatoon (YXE) or private plane.
Our hunters typically rent a vehicle (SUV or pickup recommended) and meet us at the lodge.

Season Dates

Our bookings begin September 1st and run through the end of October. The best time to book your hunt depends on which species you’d like to focus on.
Spring Snow Goose Hunt: March 15 – June 15, 2022.
Early September: Greater Canada geese and ducks.
Mid-September to Mid-October: All species…peak of the migration.
Late October: Lesser Canadas and the best duck numbers of the season.

Limits

Daily Bag Limits are as follows:
Snow Goose Hunt – Daily limit: 20; Possession limit: no possession limit.
Ducks – 8 per day.
Dark Geese – 8 per day.
White Geese – 20 per day.

Firearms Declaration

Firearm owners and users in Canada must have firearms licences for the class of firearms in their possession. Non-residents can meet licensing requirements by completing the Non-Resident Firearm Declaration CAFC-909.

Firearms Pre-Registration

Pre-processing of the Non-Resident Firearm Declaration is available through Customs offices at high-traffic land border and airport entry points. To take advantage of this service, you must enter Canada at Saskatoon or Edmonton International Airports.
